At Happy to Help Van we realise how stressful moving is, and we do our best to ease some the burden so you have one less thing to worry about.

We take our arrangements seriously, and if we say that we will be at a given address at a particular time, we will. We have much more than a single man-with-a-van, so we can provide cover if one of our staff gets ill or a vehicle is out of action, even if it means extra cost for us: we will not leave you hanging.

Depending on your needs, we will provide two or three men to carry all your items and secure them in our vehicles, so everything arrives safely. And for the added piece-of-mind, the goods we carry are insured.

We sell packing materials: boxes, tape, bubble wrap and we will deliver them to you before the arranged moving date, so you have enough time to pack everything. We know that sometimes it’s hard to estimate how much you will need, so we will collect any unused packing supplies from you and only charge you for what you have used.

If you don’t have the keys to your new home but need to move out, we can store your items in our vehicles for a short period (from few hours to few days), saving you the hassle and expense of arranging an interim storage facility.

If necessary, we will visit your home beforehand at time convenient for you, so we can assess how much cargo space your move will need and how many people the job will require.

We can provide help with Assembling and Disassembling, whether it is a bed frame, wardrobe, desks, tables or chairs, our reliable team can carefully assemble or disassemble any item.

How We Work

We start with a free no-obligation quote. The best way to contact us is by using our contact form, so we have as much information as possible to give you an estimate. If we need to visit your home to assess your needs, we will arrange a convenient time for such a visit.

Once we know what the job entails, we will give you a fixed price for the service. For jobs over £200 booked in advance, we require a 20% deposit payable bank transfer, with the balance due in cash, by card or bank transfer once the job is completed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, don’t worry – we will do everything to reschedule for a convenient date, and if it’s not possible, the deposit is fully refundable as long as you cancel at least 72 hours before the pick-up date.
